I choose to be happy, smile , give and make little steps each day ,being where I am at the time ,100 % present if possible not dreaming of something else .
Fear and Greed run the world I believe , even greed is or can be a form of fear , fear of not having enough or of what you have being taken from you !
It may be that these emotions which seem to cause so much harm ,are remnants of behaviours repeated over thousands of years in harsh probably cold environments .For example collecting food in very short summers to last through very long winters ,over and over again until it became instinctual ,unconscious behaviour . If true it seems many cannot now interrupt this behaviour in world where it currently is not needed . b e jensen c-1996
