GREENLAND–ARCTICA

ARCTICA -( 'Kalaallit Nunaat')--Greenland could be protected from exploitation, in the same way that Antarctica is(perhaps without the research stations?) . Antarctica's protection was initially, largely due to only 2 people, Australia's Bob Hawke and Paul Keating . A crucial difference is that the Native people must have custodianship and the rights that flow from that ,so the international community must fund the maintenance of Greenland and its people . Who is in a position to see this through ?The UN ?Denmark? USA?? Greenland is almost one third of the size of Australia and as we know has vast untapped mineral deposits, but is much more important to us than its dirt ! Just a thought for discussion ; This is 10cents worth from 1 nobody ,but even 1 million motivated and focussed nobodies make a very big somebody !! ? ? Keep on smiling for 'our', not just a planet but our one and only beautiful world, EARTH ! ?
