SAD 3 extended —–Domestic violence in Australia is a symptom of much broader problems in Australia.
What could drive someone to commit such horror ,gambling, alcohol and other UNDERLYING CAUSES, because no man loved by their mothers could never do harm to women,I believe ??
They must go insane ?
Do they feel so trapped/persecuted that they will get 100 percent of the blame for leaving their children no matter what the mitigating factors are;
Do they feel that there is no way out, so they implode ,maybe suicide or explode murder ?
Much more mediation ,psychological help is needed to get back to some natural balance ,to look at both sides not just one ,but that is very difficult when murder is involved ,such tragedy especially when children are involved .
Many women make it a gender issue and SEXISM either way SUX .
Most of the brutish people who commit murder are male, it is true but over 150 men and boys are murdered by men also .
Unconditional love
The David Bowie/Annie Lennox Queen song ‘Under Pressure’ symbolises the hand in glove relationship we so desperately need, who’s the hand and who’s the glove is just ego and does not matter. The same with Socialism / Capitalism Left/Right .
IT DOESN’T MATTER WHO IS RIGHT IF THERE’S NO ONE LEFT
Gaining or regaining our awareness that we are a part of this, our one and only Earth and not apart from it, needs to be our number 1 priority ,then we will have a chance to rebalance things eg the imbalance which these wars are and perhaps have always been a symbol of.
The Lyrics of ‘Loves me like a Rock’ by Paul Simon indicate the importance of unconditional love from a mother for the first 6 years at least according to Jeromy Griffiths ‘Freedom the end of the human condition’ – worth a read .
His most original idea is one that we are more like love bonding based Bonobo monkeys than competition based Chimpanzees, males of which aggressively compete for mates .(Both species are from the Congo and opposite sides of the river ,hows that for comparison)
He therefore makes the point that it is not our nature to be aggressive and violent but loving, if we get unconditional love from our mothers from birth to at least 6 years of age . Of course her basic needs must be met for her to be able to give this love. It must be the responsibility of the father / man /partner to ensure that she can give this love ,because if her basic needs are not met then she cannot.
Eventually with faith, we may venture out of our -PLATO’S ‘deep dark(safe) cave of denial’ about greater realities and be able to face our true selves in all our ugliness and beauty without judging either ,this is a major focus of J. Griffiths book also.

The relevance ,is more to do with the overall dire predicament of the entire human species and it’s just that THERE IS ALWAYS A BIGGER PICTURE AND SOME ARE SO BLINDED BY THEIR OWN LITTLE NARROW BEAM OF
LIGHT ,THEY CANNOT SEE THINGS FROM ANOTHER?S POINT OF VIEW AND TO SEE THIS BIGGER PICTURE;
More specifically I had just donated to Amnesty after a long phone conversation enlightening me with the knowledge that 10 is the age of criminal responsibility in Australia and that 10-year-old boys are locked up with 17 year old boys, these boys, possibly have not gotten UNCONDITIONAL LOVE FROM THEIR MOTHERS FROM BIRTH TO ABOUT 6 .
These children may have a DEEP SENSE OF REJECTION AND OF BEING UNLOVED .
( a big assumption on my part I know, there may be other reasons, assumption is the mother of all mess ups after all) ,these children would then bond with and be led by whomever may show them some care/love.
I THINK THIS WOULD SET UP A VICIOUS CYCLE OF HURT ,SO WE NEED TO BREAK THE CYCLE AND TREAT THE CAUSE NOT JUST THE SYMPTOM.
So to Egypt and the apparent injustices Amnesty speaks of there , I have not lived there and do not know the intricacies of the ancient culture, removing one part we don’t like may destroy the whole culture ?
Obviously you know ,parts of a woman’s body have been selected over thousands ,probably millions of years through natural evolutionary processes to attract males for the purpose of reproduction and thus survival of the species. So stimulation of sexual desire in the male has been curtailed in some cultures eg enforced covering a woman?s body to reduce sexual tension and perhaps increase trust ie chances that a child is the partners/husbands child (a man never can be certain ,whereas a woman is of course certain the child is hers ).
I love my freedoms and hate somebody telling me what I can and cannot wear, for instance I’d love to wear a G string/Brazilian? at the beach ,apart from my even sun tan I would love the feeling of freedom it would give when swimming. I have skinny-dipped once or twice in my life and it is wonderful feeling, to wear the tights women wear these days that would feel good also;
WOULD I BE PERSECUTED FOR THIS AS A 65 YEAR OLD MALE? If I had the courage I would do it !!
In Australia up until recently men didn?t cry and were not supposed to show emotions ,just get on with the job do what had to be done etc., Only when I travelled to the country of my ancestors did I find that men were comfortable talking about their feelings .
We cant judge the past too much ,so much has changed in so short a
time ,what is wrong now was right 40 years ago ,what is right now was wrong 40 years ago and so on.
Life was hard pioneering this country clearing and developing a harsh alien land with nothing but axes hand saws and shovels ,hard for men ,hard for women many of whom had 10 or more children ,not much time left for anything else for either gender.
Men and women need to hug each other to love each other to accept each other, to UNDERSTAND OR AT LEAST ACCEPT OUR DIFFERENCES, we’re so out of balance with nature if we don’t start to accept and love each other we cannot realise and care about what are doing to our wonderful earth.!!
I think the vast majority of men have always loved and respected women , but there are also always a few who would seek power and control over others ,male and female ,and not all men are gentlemen and not all women are ladies.
All men and women in the world are so very closely related .
Think about it ,arguing like this when the world is in such a dire state is crazy, like a dog chasing its own tail ,whirling in endless circles thinking its tail is a foreign object .
Who is the head and who is the tail depends on your perspective.
Some of your sexist sisters(SS) saying that they are stronger than men and they will take over is like saying wood is stronger than cheese ,but you cant eat wood and you cant build much out of cheese .
The women in London shouting to the police arrest your own kind is alienating men from women .Do you think is is the way to heal humankind ?
With experience and age can come wisdom ; I’m 65 now if I live another 20 years I hope get some? I keep trying to be objective but sometimes misguided emotions get the better of me .
